A warm welcome in elegant surroundings awaits you at Holly Croft where we have been welcoming guests for 7 years. Offering a refreshing alternative to the usual B & B. we provide a separate guest sitting room with TV, DVD etc. and even a Victorian rocking horse! guests are welcome to make use of our games room with 3/4 size snooker table or sit in our lovely garden. Breakfast is a leisurely affair served around the large mahogany dining table. A traditional breakfast is cooked to order on the Aga with free range eggs from a nearby smallholding, we also offer a comprehensive selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, croissants and some home made preserves. We get many compliments on the quality of our breakfasts.

Accommodation

Accommodation comprises of one double bedroom which has a a private bathroom (bath, separate large shower cubicle, washbasin and w.c.) and one twin room with en-suite shower room (large shower cubicle, bidet, washbasin and w.c.) Our comfortable beds, dressed in white, have luxurious pillows, goose down quilts, towels are plump and soft and we also provide bathrobes and slippers for our guests use.

Scalby is a quiet residential village on the outskirts of Scarborough and ideally placed for walks along the cliff top or in the lovely surrounding countryside it is also an excellent base for touring the North Yorkshire Moors. There are nearby pubs for bar snacks and traditional Yorkshire ale.

Scarborough itself has 2 beautiful beaches, a historic castle and many amenities including restaurants, museums, the art gallery and the Stephen Joseph Theatre, home to Alan Ayckbourn, the world's most performed living playwright.

York, Castle Howard, Burton Agnes Hall, Bempton Cliffs RSPB nature reserve and Heartbeat country are all within easy reach

We can provide packed lunches and by prior arrangement dinner (min. 4 persons)
